What is the best HP laptop overall ?

HP's new OmniBook X 14 has set a new record for battery life, but our favorite HP laptop is still the hp Specter x360 14. This is one of the first laptops to feature Intel's new Core Ultra processor, which promises AI capabilities that will be even more important in the future with improved performance you can feel today. It also features a beautiful OLED display wrapped in a beautiful and durable metal chassis. Even better, HP is discontinuing the Specter line and offering the Specter x360 14 at a huge discount.

Back to the OmniBook X 14: This is HP's first Copilot Plus PC based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon X mobile processor. It doesn't have the Spectre x360 14's features or OLED display, but it offers unprecedented battery life. Thanks to its Snapdragon X Elite processor, it can run for 24 hours a day on a single charge. Every year, we've reviewed every HP laptop model, performing benchmark tests under controlled conditions in CNET's labs and conducting extensive hands-on testing to evaluate each product. With decades of experience, CNET's computer experts have tested and researched to find the best laptops HP has to offer.

HP Specter x360 14

The Specter x360 14 is an alternative to the MacBook that benefits from a more refined and robust design and is aimed at the general "pro" user group. At a reasonable price of $1,450 (with a discount of up to $300), it is hundreds of dollars less than the 14-inch MacBook Pro. You will enjoy the full performance of the Intel Core Ultra processor and be ready to work. The AI of the future, too. The 14-inch 2.8K OLED display is amazing and can be converted to tablet mode for added versatility, and the 9-megapixel camera can capture crisp 4K video so you can look great during video chats. The Specter x360 14 is as close to a MacBook Pro as you can get in a Windows laptop.

Do you need a C-band phone?

 Support C-band

For a phone to support the US C-band, it needs three things: its hardware must support it, it must be approved by the FCC to work on it, and it must have the right software. The latter has caused some delays, for example in Verizon's Pixel 6. Pixel 6 has hardware and FCC certification, but C-band support is delayed for a short time due to missing firmware. (This has now been fixed.)

AT&T's C-band list is similar, but there is an additional addition, as not all AT&T C-band phones support 3.45 GHz. Currently, the only phones we know of that will support the new 3.45GHz for AT&T are the Samsung Galaxy S22 series and the Google Pixel 6a, but AT&T has promised more details on that later this year. The iPhone 14 series will be the first 3.45GHz iPhones.

Do you need a C-band phone?

Now, deciding whether you need a c band phone comes down to trying to figure out if your carrier will launch a C-band network before you get a new phone. • AT&T users should think about their current data usage. Hopefully, the C band isn't too fast. If you're disappointed with your AT&T performance, get a phone compatible with the upcoming 3.45 GHz network. For now this list is limited, so wait for a better list. • Verizon launches into C-band If you live in one of the carrier's C-band markets and data performance is important to you, you should get a C-band phone. • T-Mobile does not have C-band airwaves until 2024. T-Mobile users should not worry about C-band only. • US Cellular is in the same boat as T-Mobile.

We'll be monitoring C-band development and let you know if it's available on every phone we review, so make sure you buy a model that supports the wave you want to use.
